Mountain States Physician Group, Inc. seeks physician to generally oversee the treatment of patients who present to the hospital in critical care situations and provide inpatient physician services. Position requires Critical Care Physician to observe, diagnose, prepare testing and treat patients for  injuries and diseases, including respiratory illnesses in patients presenting with acute symptoms and other respiratory illnesses; initiate procedures and monitor treatment plans, serve as a consultant and make recommendations for primary treatment procedures and protocols; examine, evaluate and manage hospital patients requiring critical care services admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, inpatient care floor, Emergency Department and make recommendations for alternate treatment strategies; rounding, ordering diagnostic tests, medications and other treatment modalities, assessing results of treatments and developing a plan of care; discharging patients with transition of care to hospitalist inpatient service and completing medical records. 

The primary worksite is a hospital facility located in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Applicant must have M.D., D.O. or foreign medical degree equivalent, eligibility to practice medicine in Tennessee, and BC/BE in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.
