Siouxland Community Health Center
Sioux City, IAAbout
Siouxland Community Health Center was founded in 1992 as a joint effort of local hospitals St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center and Mercy Medical Center (then Marian Health Center) to respond to the unmet health care needs among the underserved in the community. The health center began as a small health clinic with 12 staff, including one provider. Since that time, SCHC has grown to become a comprehensive home for quality health care services that is designed to ensure that every need is met for all that walk through our doors. Our growth is a testament to our commitment to the community. Siouxland Community Health Center is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n). We offer care that is culturally competent and matched to patient needs, including direct interpretation services in multiple languages including Spanish, Vietnamese, French, Somali, and Oromo. Our partnership with various agencies throughout the community, as well as multiple service sites is part of our patient-centered approach. Our Mission We Serve our Community to bring Healing through our Commitment to care.Jobs at Siouxland Community Health Center
