Pediatric Transport Team Director-
University Health is hiring for an incredible opportunity as the Pediatric Transport Team Director. In this role, you would be responsible to maintain management responsibility and accountability for clinical practice of the pediatric transport team and pediatric transport specialists. This position will also promote the University Health Customer Relation’s policy through outreach education and coordination.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and current registration with the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas is required (Magnet). Effective January 1, 2016, a Master’s Degree is required or enrollment in a Master’s program. Effective August 1, 2015, National certification (e.g. CCRN, RNC, CEN, CNOR, OCN, ANCC, CAN, CPAN, CFRN, etc.) in related field is required unless currently enrolled in school. National Certification will be required one year after completion of the aforementioned education. Five years’ experience in nursing with at least two years in pediatric transport is required. Experience in leadership preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Current license from the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State of Texas to practice as a registered nurse is required.
